What is a template?
A template is a project with inputs. You link the parts that change, such as text, colours and images, to variables and choose which of them appear as fields in a form. Anyone on your team can then make a new version by filling in the form. Templates come with the Premium plan. See pricing.
Does rendering from a template cost anything?
Renders from a template form run on our servers and use cloud render credits. One credit is 5 seconds of render time, charged to the hundredth of a credit, so you only pay for the time a render actually takes. Premium includes a monthly allowance.
Can our own systems use the same template?
Yes. Every field in the form is also a value you can send to the Render API, so a new listing, order or customer in your own tools can become a video without anyone filling in the form. See how automation works.
